 Nylon

(Amilan)
Unreinforced

1. Nylon 6, Nylon 66
- Outstanding balance of mechanical properties
- Outstanding toughness in equiliblium moisture content
- Outstanding chemical resistance and oil resistance
- Outstanding wear and abrasion resistance
- Almost all grades are self-extinguishing.
The flame-resitant grades are rated UL 94VO
- Outstanding long-term heat-resistance (at long-term continues
maximum temperature ranging between 80°C to 150° C)
- Grades reinforced with glass-fiber and other materials offer
  superior elastic modulus and strength
- Offers low gasoline permeability and outstanding gas barrier properties

2. Nylon 610
- Outstanding suppleness and impact strength at low temperature
- Relatively low hygroscopic properties
- Outstanding flex fatigue properties

3. Copolymer Nylon

Glass Fibre
Reinforced (GF)

  • Molded products feature a highly oriented in molecular chain, the thinner the molded products. This further improves strength and elastic modulus
  • The heat deflection temperature is 250° C or higher
  • No change in dimensions due to moisture absorption. The linear expansion rate in direction of flow is comparable to values for metal
  • Can be molded at mold temperature of 100° C degrees or less, as is true for PBT resins. The stability in retention during is on a par with conventional liquid crystal polymers
  • Outstanding vibration absorption regardless of high elastic modulus

Glass Fibre
Reinforced

  • Outstanding long-term heat resistances
  • Minimum molding contraction rate and coefficient of linear thermal expansion with low moisture absorption means outstanding dimensional stability even at high temperature and high humidity
  • Outstanding chemical resistance on a par with fluoroethylene resin
  • The resin offer high strength and high rigidity  with minimum decline in characteristics at high temperatures
  • Offers outstanding electrical properties at high temperature, high humidity, and high frequencies
  • Outstanding fluidity allows extrusion molding on a level with standard engineering plastics
